Is there an App for newspaper like reading on the Mac? (basically Flipboard)

I'm kind of thinking I want to sell my iPad, but I really like Flipboard. Is there an alternative?

Pulp is the best i've seen in the MAS, but Facebook has purchased the developer and updates are no more.

It's a real shame that Pulp is now essentially abandon-ware, as it is a superb app. It's inexpensive and is definitely worth checking out, but I for one would be reluctant to invest time getting used to an app that will not be maintained.

$10 is to much for a dead app. Free.

You might try the new web version of Pulse at http://www.pulse.me

You could set that up very similar to Flipboard and run it in Safari full screen getting very close to the iPad experience.

I feel like Facebook is going to use Pulp on their secret phone that's in development, haha.

Pulse would have been perfect, but they don't support reading Twitter on their web app. Boo.

Any other suggestions? I might have to build my own....
