I need to do something but searching with keywords isn't bringing much luck; Maybe there are some very businessy abbreviations that I don't know of so I miss the choices
Sorry about the messy explanation, but that's exactly why I didn't manage to find an app on my own.
I'm looking for an app that would allow me to type in my own <title/question>, then make selections between a few given alternatives. Depending on which one of the given choices is selected, the app displays new sets of choosable items. Each way is different and the set of choices lead into a different outcome.
For example, if you'd play "guess the animal", proceeding with questions such as "can it jump" or "does it have a tail", of course every selection narrows down the available choices, eventually leading to a result.
I can do some newbie Applescript so first I thought that I'd just code a dialog thing, but a multi-choice questionnaire with dozens and dozens of if-thens would be extremely difficult to edit, update and keep track of.
The editing should be at least somehow visual and it'd be handy to be able to view the progress when the activity is being done.
I was using text edit and a classic mind mapping app for smaller "guides" but when the processes and world of choices get so massive and multi-faceted, it's impossible to keep track of the essential: You're scrolling to and fro, the parts that become irrelevant along the process are left hanging there, it's hard to focus on the step at hand as you're already eyeing the steps ahead etc.
This is why it'd be quite important that the chart would display the currently relevant material only.
Any ideas of apps that could do this?
Or apps that aren't exactly made for this but can be used this way if you get creative... Decision-making, questionnaires, project planning, flowcharts, what might it be
Thanks!
