Is there an app like microsoft notepad?

I was wondering if there is an app somewhat like microsoft notepad that just takes html code. Or can I only use iweb?

TextEdit. just make sure u change it to plain text in the menubar.

I second TextWrangler, which is the free version of BBEdit. I use TW on a day to day basis as my default html editor - it really can't be faulted for the price (FREE!) and has many of the features of its big brother that just makes html text editing easier.
