iPod touch Is there an app that will do this?

I'm a high school assistant principal, and I would like an app that I can do my walk-through observations on.

I bought Annotater, and have used that by loading a PDF of my observation form in and writing on that. The only thing I don't like is that when I double-tap to type something on the PDF, it doesn't print in the location I double-tap. It prints at the bottom.

I have a form that has a list of things I am looking for in my 5 minute walk-through observation, and I would love to have an app that I can write directly on it, or make changes to certain fields.

Can you please post up exactly what a walk-through observation is? In my field it may be defined entirely different from what a vice principal would do. Also, what features do you need the application to do? Are you editing PDF documents ?

I don't know what Annotater App is but sounds like you could do it like most text Apps do. Just hold your finger down near where you want the cursor then when the Magnifying Glass comes up place the cursor where you want it.

I honestly don't have any good suggestions for you. I do similar task lists, however I email myself the list in pure text, and add to it (comments) form within the reply of that email.

I am unable to open that document at the moment, but when I can I will take a peek and see if I can dig up some more suggestions. (unless someone else has opportunity to help).

the only thing I can think of is jailbreaking it and contacting a developer to make something like that.

Maybe you can use the Adobe Designer to make a PDF form. Then use an app similar to adobe reader for PC to fill the form on the ipod touch. What you need to do is mostly to tick or to select from a drop list.

As I have not got my ipod touch, I dont know what app will do.
