to be honest i am overwhelmed at how many different apps i need to track what fitbit has in a single app. I'm still trying out my apple watch. any tips?

I'm looking for something like this using apple watch but on the phone app. Fitbit only does this on their website.

The app Workoutdoors will show you elevation and other data along with the map of your route. The developer posts here on this forum, so down below this thread is an example of a long discussion about that app.

Thanks for recommending WorkOutDoors. The app does indeed show elevation data including profile graphs (and maps) in the iPhone app and shows a map of the elevation in the watch app. The next release will also allow a profile to be shown in the watch app, which will update in real-time during the workout.

For more details about the app check out www.workoutdoors.net

Most apps will show the elevation gain / loss. I really like "Walkmeter / Runmeter" it sends all the data by email as well as saving on the phone and can be exported to GPX, TCX for import to other apps such as Garmin etc. You can also customize the watch views / pages for real time updates.
