Is there an easier way to control Airplay volume?

I'm using an Airport Express to wirelessly play music from iTunes. However, now the volume controls on my Macbook only adjust the volume on the computer, but I have to switch into iTunes and adjust the volume with the slider. Is there an app to put the iTunes volume in my toolbar at least? That would make it easier than having to switch spaces every time I want to raise or lower the volume.

I haven't seen anything that does what you want, but it would be great to have.
