I've recently noticed that a few of the songs in my iTunes library are lost. I added them to the library incorrectly, i.e. they weren't in the usual place where I store all my MP3s (I don't let iTunes keep my music organised, I do that myself). Some seem to have been added from another folder somewhere on my computer that I've now deleted.
Is there any way to get iTunes to remove all of these 'lost' songs from its library without having to do it manually? I've got something like 7000 songs in there now so going through it manually is not an option.

Couldn't you just delete all the songs in iTunes then drag and drop your songs into itunes?

Southernboy that was great, thanks very much! 212 dead songs removed. :)

LoganT, although I realise that would have worked, it also would have nuked all of my many playlists. :( Thanks for the suggestion though!!
