So far, every one I've bought can charge, but not actually transmit audio using the iPhone. I know I can use generic ones, but I want one that can charge at the same time. I'm on duty for 12 hours and the battery won't last that long unless I keep it charging as well.

The DLO TransDock works but I had a bunch of interference and static so I returned it to Apple. I'm just going to get a car stereo with iPod integration.

I've got a Griffin iTrip Auto which seems to work OK apart from the popup message and the odd 'blip' every so often as the phone communicates with the network.

I had a new Sony stereo installed. It didn't cost much more than the FM transmitters, and it works perfectly. It even came with the connector cable. And when a call comes in the music fades out. I'm very happy with it.:D
