One of the things I love about my current iPhone is the fact that I can just slip it into the dock/cradle/charger (whatever it's called :)). Couldn't be easier.

But now that I'll be getting a new iPhone 4 I'll be using a case on the phone -- the Incipio NGP case, to be specific.

Are there any dock/cradle/chargers out there that allow the case to remain on the phone while charging in the cradle? Or do all cases HAVE TO be removed first?

Thanks...

Any dock that has a removable dock adapter insert should work.

I personally use the Griffin Simplifi. It has the removable dock adapter. I got a universal dock adapter from Switch Easy that works with 99.9% of the cases on the market.

Thanks, but I'm talking about being able to just slip the phone into a dock/cradle (without manually plugging the plug in by hand) while the case is still on the phone.

Does that make sense?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm taking about.

Now does it make sense?

I suppose. :) I was confused by the mention of "removable dock adapter" and "universal dock adapter" since I wasn't sure what they were, exactly.

The removable dock adapter is the white insert you see in the image above. They make different ones for different devices (iphone, ipod, touch etc.) The one I'm using is a universal one, the opening is wide enough to be used with all devices, cases included.

Ahh, I see. Thanks very much!
