iPod touch Is there an iPod cheaper than the third-generation Classic?

After losing two Nanos on a bus ( https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=14915672#post14915672 ) I need a replacement. I need the cheapest one possible, with around 15-20 GB (Maybe 12). I would be fine with absolutely anything, except for a Shuffle, since I want to be able to choose the songs that I use. Is there anything cheaper than a third-generation classic, or am I right? And, could I save money by getting a broken one and maybe fixing it up? I would be fine with any response, even confirmation of my decision.

There are plenty of used iPods out there. Check Craigslist if you're in the US.
