Hi, is there an official statement? I know there are ways to make it available but I am not interested in Apple Intelligence nor want it to be in my system. However, I want to know why Apple Intelligence does not work if the OS is booted from an external drive. I read that if booted from an external drive, that drive is treated as if it were the internal one. How does Mac OS know if the boot drive is internal or not?
