I'm looking for an app that would allow me to listen to the sound that my computer is outputting. I know this is possible in remote desktop apps like Jaadu RDP, but I'd rather a way to do this without the use of remote desktop. The reason is because I'd like to use my iPhone (connected with come earphones) as a wireless headset for my computer.

You guys sorta misunderstood. I'm looking for a solution that can act as a wireless headset, streaming whatever audio is coming out of my computer. As I said, Jaadu RDP is able to do this, but I want a solution that doesn't completely hog my computer and waste my battery on the phone. I'm not looking for a way to stream my music collection :p

Airphones looks like what I'm looking for :D Thanks!

EDIT: Too bad it doesn't work on Windows 7 64.... *sigh*

IMO, Mecanto and AudioGalaxy both are good resources for stream audio from computer because there are no syncing, copying and uploading problems you just stream and enjoy the music.

iPhone App for Audio Stream

As Expert iPhone Application Developer, I believe, Audio Galaxy is perfect and result oriented iPhone Application for audio stream.
