Is there any evidence that supports the iPhone will be on other carriers?

It's on 5 different carriers down here and you can buy it factory unlocked from Apple.

In the US there's only one carrier with a network compatible with the iPhone, not much Apple can do about that.

Please do a search and refrain from bringing up such a heated debate. There are TONS of threads on the subject.

But to summarize...nothing absolutely concrete. If that saves you from reading the other threads....great. But I think we've all had enough of this debate....at least for today.

OK....let me rephrase. At least until WWDC has completed and we can start rumors about the next Apple announcements.
