How does OS X burn things?
I will check out that program right now. Do you use it for burning DVDs to be played in stand alone players not a mac?
Here is a quick summary of things OS X and iLife can do natively:
OS X can burn data discs (CD or DVD) using Finder.
OS X can also burn data discs, including multisession ones, using Disk Utility.
OS X can burn ISO and other disk images using Disk Utility also
iTunes can burn audio CDs for standard CD players as well as data CDs or DVDs that can be used in computers or players that are able to play MP3s or AACs off a disc.
iDVD can burn movies onto DVD for playing in a standard DVD player, including creating a menu / navigation system that plays on DVD players. But, it's mostly for burning your home movies (i.e. footage you take, not footage you download or rip).
Burn can do a whole variety of things that are described on the webpage to which I linked you. In particular, it also allows for burning data discs with a variety of options, audio CDs for your car, and video CDs and DVDs for your DVD player (it does
not allow you to make menus and navigation for your DVDs like iDVD does, FWIW).
