It's Sunday so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to take it to the Apple Service, but I'm afraid it's inevitable :(
It's 4y old and though it's a slow animal in todays specs it's still decent I was hoping to survice a couple more years.
Have anyone seen such lines across their displays?!

Looks like some type of an issue with either the display itself of the graphics card.

I'm not sure.

Does it do that all the time, or just sometimes? Usually I've seen that you can put the computer to sleep and wake it back up and the problem will go away (for a while). You can replace the display, but this was a known problem with some of those models, albeit not acknowledged by Apple, and so another display for that model might end up with the same issue.
