Past history says it'll most likely be June/July 2011. Other than that, only Apple knows for sure.

The rep at the at&t store that I went to on sunday kept calling it the iphone 4g, when I was calling it the iphone 5.
Maybe that means at&t will roll out with the 4g network sometime around the launch of the new iphone?

They have no idea at the AT&T store, Google Apple secrecy. Nobody knows, nothing has been leaked. The people working at AT&T are no more knowledgeable than the rest of us on the situation.
There are some rumors that Apple ordered a 8mp camera or something. Who knows but I hope that its true.
You heard wrong. Verizon is going to be making it for sure. Verizon just bought out Apple, and from now on the Verizon CEO will be announcing the new iPhone yearly. Can't you tell from all these Verizon threads? You must be living under a rock.

But honestly, it will probably be leaked in May, announced in June, release in July and actually purchasable by the non-crazy in August.
