My mom just got a New iBook G4 for work, and wants to transfer stuff from her (my old) Powerbook G4.

Problem is, I am up here for thanksgiving, and my firewire cable is two hours away. Is there any way to do it without the cable? (I'm thinking not, but I figured i'd ask)

Thanks,

Nope

You can't use anything other than a firewire cable with the migration assistant, but you can connect them via an ethernet cable or via the airport cards and transfer that way.
