Is there any point in ordering a 6+ now?

I just found out Verizon pushed some upgrades (including mine from 11/2) up for the new iPhones a day after preorders went up, and now I'm not sure if I should even try to order a 6+ or not.

Verizon's site say the 6+ configuration I want will Deliver by 11/4...

Now will it actually take that long, until 11/4? And if so, would it just be easier to try and get one in stores? I don't want to wait almost 2 months I wish Verizon could've pushed upgrades up a few days earlier...

Put it in now, then go on the hunt around stores and see if you can find one after release. Then cancel the online order if you score.

You should be able to find one somewhere...I would just hunt on release day, or grab a comfy chair and wait outside a store of your choice the night of the 18th.

If you're willing to stand in line, do that. If you strike out on launch day, you could always order then. I doubt that ship date would have moved much if at all.
