tabbed browsing in firefox/safari?

tabs in smultron/textwrangler/coda?

i'm not exactly sure what you're after sorry.

Sorry I guess now having reread it, I wasn't too clear.

I have a few pages from my text book that I have to download from online. When you're on a specific page, you can save that page. It comes out as .html or htm I guess files. I know that Firefox, Safari, etc can read them, but when I open more than one of these files, it opens up multiple windows. This is fine for 1-2 pages, but I have over 50 of these. 50 Windows is just a bad idea. I was wondering if there was a program to either open up it like a book, or maybe even 50 tabs in Firefox (I know you can drag/drop but is there a faster way to do this?)

ive just tried opening 3 x .htm files with firefox, and it opens 3 separate windows.

however opening the 3 x .htm files with safari opens them all in the same window/separate tabs.

- select all the files you want to open.
- control-click (or right click) on one of them
- choose "open with" Safari

this probably has to be checked in Safari's preferences -
