I use eSim on my personal line and a physical sim for my work line. Other than that, I don’t see a benefit to switching if you only have one line aside from ensuring an iPhone 12 has 5g capabilities, meaning you don’t have to go through the trouble of requesting a new 5g SIM card from your carrier.
