Is there any RSS program that puts RSS feeds into Mail

In Mountain Lion? I'm very hesitant to use either Google because of revelations about their use of our browsing habits.

Just want a very simple app like I currently have in Snow Leopard. I subscribe to a half dozen or so RSS feeds and I like to keep them separate. I don't do anything fancy to any of the feeds, just like to be notified that they are there and I decide when to view them.

I don't think you will find anything that will integrate RSS back into Mail app, but there are other RSS apps out there. The free app Vienna is fairly simple and does not require Google sync.
