i heard disabling spot light search would...does anyone know anything first hand. i will try disabling and report back and let you guys know. but if you have any other suggestions let me know.

Don't leave 37 apps open at one time, close all apps from time to time, reboot phone once a month. Disabling spot light will do nothing.

:apple:

Delete unnecessary text messages, copy a load of photos to your computer and erase your camera roll, close apps often, uninstall stuff you don't need, reboot occasionally.

If I'm jailbroken what's the difference between clearing memory with sbsettings and and using killbackground app

From my knowledge, the things you do in SBSettings are they same things you can do yourself. Like when you turn on the Wi-Fi in SBS, two ways to do the same thing. So killing apps, same thing.
