Hi all,

I encounter an email sync problem, in iPhone, when setup hotmail, there is an option "Mail Days to Sync" i know it is a IMAP email, so, iPhone can determine which days can sync

But in Mac 10.10, when i setup the hotmail used the mail program or outlook, it needs download all hotmail mail, i have more than 20,000 mail, which make the downloading process very slow, is there any alternative ways to stop downloading the old message?, or any similar "Mail Days to Sync" option similar in IOS?

I know that in Gmail, there is an option of downloading the latest 1000-10,000 mail, but i find mail or outlook, or hotmail setting, don't have such option, or I need to create a rule in outlook or mail to stop the download the old message?

Or does there any apps can do that? I can pay for that, as it is so disturbing all the time

Thanks for advice
