Pretty much the title. I ordered everything I need to do the swap(SSD, adapter, screwdrivers etc), and am wondering if I would be able to still get some use out of the SSD that I will be taking out. It's not the fastest, but still much faster than an external HDD, so if possible I would like to find some sort of enclosure for it so I could use it for either backups or sample libraries and stuff like that. Seems like a bit of a waste to put a perfectly working(albeit only 256gb) SSD in a drawer somewhere to never be used again. Has anyone here found an enclosure that works with OEM MBP drives? Any input is appreciated, cheers!

Is there any way I could use the OEM SSD from my 2014 MBP 15" as an external drive after I replace it with an NVME drive? Any enclosures available?
