Is there any way to adapt an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 4S connection?

I have the USA SPEC HON3 iPod adapter connecting my iPhone 4S to my 2008 Acura TSX. If I upgrade to an iPhone 5 is there any way to connect it to this or will I have to buy a whole new unit? Here is my model:

I don't know that this specifically works with what you have, but you presumably want something like this:

It should work using the Apple Lighting-30pin adapter.

There is a thread here saying the hon2 works fine with that adapter (see post#30):

I also Googled and found some current advertisements for your model (Hon3) which said it worked with iphone 5/5s, but required the Lightning-30pin adapter -- so that is also an indication that it works using said adapter.
