You know how with Screen Time you can check your stats as to how your spending your time?

You know how with Sleep tracking it pretty good at telling you what time your fall asleep and what time you wake up?

You know how Activity/Fitness tells you good metrics within your specific workouts?

Is there a way I can check what time I’m arriving home? I use google maps. Apple Maps rarely but don’t know if perhaps maybe it’s saving my parked spots and arrival and departing times from wherever I go. Either way I’m really wanting to see exactly what time I arriving at home every night after work. I wish I had security cameras at my home cause viewing what time I pull up with my car would solve this.

You could turn on favorite locations. Or, they may be some other automation with geofencing that can be used, but I can't speak to that.

You could use a service like MileIQ that automatically tracks your trips, but it's $60/year. I use it to make logging my business travel a lot easier, but I've also been using it when I need to remember if I went somewhere on a certain day or not and around what time I got there.

I’m okay with manually checking what time I arrive every day. I already do so with my screen time stats and sleeping stats, etc etc

I would do the same. Favorite locations are saved.
I have starred locations which I’m guessing is the same to favoriting locations. But do I have to dig deep to look at this info?

I would love if Apple Maps had some sort of log of the times I arrived

I think you can set a reminder for when you get home. Something like ”Remind me 10 minutes after I get home after to log my arrival time“.

Then when you get the reminder if you have an Apple Watch you could say “Hey Siri, add to my Arrival Log note that I arrived at 6:45PM on February 23.”

This may not be perfect but something close to this should work. I haven’t tried the part about “10 minutes after” but I suggest it because when I use the reminder without that it sometimes triggers just as I’m approaching home and I’m not ready to make use of the prompt.

You would have to create a note in Notes that has Arrival Log in the first line.

I’m not familiar with short cuts but I wonder if it could work with reminders and geofencing and automatically log the time for you?

If you haven’t already done so, in the Contacts app go to your card and put in the correct address for your home. You could just ask Siri for your home address and see what happens.

You could build a shortcut that would log when you get home, and put this data in a note/spreadsheet etc. do you know your way around the shortcuts app? Could explore that.
