Like the title says, I have an external keyboard where, when NumLock is disabled, uses some of the numberpad keys as the arrow keys (no separate arrow keys). It works just fine with Windows, but my understanding is that macOS does not support NumLock for whatever reason. Is there any way to restore this functionality?

I've downloaded Karabiner-Elements but I don't see an easy way to do this that does not involve holding down another key, which I'd like to avoid if possible.

Good question: my Apple keyboard has a Num Lock key, but it has ⌧ printed on it and only types "". So it doesn't work as in Windows. No idea what it is for…

Isn't that a backspace? Or perhaps in case you use the keyboard on a different operating system?

But still makes no sense as to why macOS overall would not support the NumLock button.
