I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it, if this topic is overdone just point me to a thread. I can't understand why a non-unibody macbook doesn't have the safari swipe to go back/forward gesture. Is there a third party app that'll do it? Better Touch Tool maybe?

I'm pretty sure that the actual trackpad doesn't have any gestures other than the scrolling. I may be wrong, but I don't think its a software thing. I think its a hardware or firmware thing.

While the older Macbooks trackpads are hardware limited to tow fingers only, it does seem a bit strange that Apple has not enabled the complete set of two finger multitouch gestures on them. As of now I don't think there is a software hack to enable more of the two finger gestures.
