Kind of a complicated situation, but long story short - my computer got a virus. I took it to get repaired and he suggested wiping it clean and starting fresh, so I did. Now all of my documents and music have a fresh "created on" date. This completely screws up my iTunes music library because I listen almost exclusively to my "Recently Added" folder. Now that encompasses my entire library.

Is there any way to restore the "created on" date on the mp3s, and if not, can I transfer the old version of the songs on my old phone (4S) to my computer so the dates will be back to what they were or does iTunes only sync one way? Thanks!

I ma pretty sure there is an app for that. When I moved from an old 27" to new 27" Mac, I use software to move my 60GB of music from the old computer to the new so I did not have to copy my disks again.

I would think there is a app to move music from the phone to the computer.
