Is there any way to make the iPhone 6+ keyboard bigger in landscape mode?

I don't use most of the buttons to the sides of the keyboard when in landscape.

I know what you mean and I have the same complaint. The middle keys are really hard to reach. I'd rather they just remove a lot of the unnecessary buttons on the side, or at least move them to a submenu. You could always install a third party keyboard and see if that works out better in landscape. I haven't tried it myself, but that appears to be the only solution. I don't think you can change the stock keyboard.

If you enable zoom mode that makes the keyboard larger and gets rid of a few side keys
