Is there any way to turn off auto play on an iPad.

I know you can turn off individual apps like FB and YouTube but I’m driven mad by a newspaper site that starts any video on a page and even restarts it after I’ve stopped it and moved down the page. Is there any way to disable auto Play?

Install a content blocker which allows for custom blocking of elements on a webpage.
