Hi
I accidentally emptied the trash when some important files were in it. Is there any way to "un-empty" it?

And don't tell me, "Be careful next time, you idiot". I know it was stupid but it's a long story so I'll spare you the details.

I have a leopard on the old white macbook if that makes a difference.

Please help. Thanks.

As you have Leopard, do you have Time Machine set up?
If so, use TM to find the original files. TM doesn't back up Trash or anything not saved to the HD.
