Anyone know of any way to answer and make normal calls through your home landline via an iPhone?

Basically, a mate of mine wants to use their iphone as a landline and retain their existing home tel number.

Obviously, there is VOIP calling. But is there any other way?

I;m in the UK but have heard of something called the iFusion SmartStation that does this using Bluetooth.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Ok don't jump into this without doing some more research for yourself, I'm giving you this information solely as a lead to solve your problem :D

I messed around with Google Voice a little bit (made an account, read it's features, and that's about it) and read somewhere that you could make "All of your numbers ring one phone".

I didn't read into it any further to check if you could use lan lines, but read up on it.
