Or even just pager to permanently show list of spaces, the current one,
like it was possible in Desktop Manager

Its a deal breaker to me while I try to switch to mac.
I do know that you can assign keys to desktops and that you can set different
wallpaper on each desktop, and that you can bring mission control overview
but I don't want either of them. I just need that simple pager.
