for those people that need a powerful, quick reliable computer that is also semi portable to use professional applications for HD video editing, music production, website design etc: isn't the penryn macbook pro plenty powerful enough as-is? with the pursuit of newer technology is there a very good reason to upgrade from a penryn model coming even within the next 6 months? ow about 1-2 years? would a quad core chip really make that muc of a difference with snow leopard?

thoughts?
