...to resize the same way Safari does when you press the green button?


Not full screen but set it too 800px wide or whatever the site was designed for?

I wouldn't have thought so, it's built differently.

I'm guessing you prefer Safari's method then? :)
 
Guess u can't get a perfect product anywhere, huh? :D

anyway, there are quite a few extensions for firefox that can resize the window to pre-set sizes (u can define the resize by yourself first, the goto the website and click the resize item on context menu, etc), but no auto fit by green button. Maybe in the future, when Firefox put more focus on specific Mac platform.
