I have always hated the pop up bubble to move the curser around to go back and delete or move around. Are there any tweaks that will add arrows instead?

I am a HUGE fan of SwipeShiftCaret. It works in 99% of text fields. When it doesn't work, you can assign an activator action. I had my set to use short hold of volume up or volume down. Its a must have tweak for me now. I highly recommend it.
Although you're looking for arrows so this might not be exactly what you want.
