I've continuously seen "IOATAController device blocking bus" these days. After googleing, I found this message might be an indicator of disk failure. However, using “Disk utility” didn’t give me any error at all. So, how can I make sure there isn’t any damage in the harddisk?? Thank you.

Thanks all. I’ve tried SMARTReporter before I posted this entry. But, it only gives me aggregated information on a single drive. It doesn’t give me full info of SMART status. But, I couldn’t ask much from it since it’s free. So, I am thinking that is there any way to perform full scan (every block) on a harddisk? Or, can I retrieve full SMART status?
