I plan to use the new Macbook at home, the laptop will be connected to external monitor, external keyboard and mouse.

My question:
How do I connect external monitor AND power to the new macbook concurrently? And if possible connect both keyboard and mouse (I know I can use wireless keyboard/mouse, but I don't want to spend any more $).

Thanks.

You have to buy the apple USB C AV multiport adapter. It cost $79 and has USB C, HDMI, and a standard USB port. They are hard to find though.

The Apple Digital AV adapter.

It gives you another USB-C for power, a HDMI port, and a full USB 3 port.
