im late to the party and itether is officially off the apple store. I figured apple would also cut functionality and did not buy it. is there anyway to jailbrake my ipod touch and download it from cydia and bring the app back to my iphone to use it? I am new to this whole jailbreaking thing since i never wanted to void the warranty on one of my apple products

so there is no way to bring it over from the itouch to my iphone even though it was previously an app for the iphone

If its in your iTunes library you can.

I had several apps where Apple has taken off iTunes but I downloaded it before. All you do is sync ur device with iTunes like you would for any app.

unfortunately i did not buy it. I would like to find an alternative solution to use tethering in case of an emergency
