I asked Squaretrade warranty and they said no. I ask because the chargers break so easily, the warranties are absolutely necessary.
 
What is your question?

Edit: Just noticed you fixed your post.. Apple tends to be pretty good with replacing chargers under regular AppleCare. I've had 4+ replaced on this one machine (probably 10-12 total on all of my MacBooks).

While Apple is known for making exceptions, it should be noted that AppleCare only covers defective adapters, not ones that have damage from accidents or normal wear.

they have always been very good with me replacing them over the years... but they do usually make a point of letting you know it is "not meant to be covered" under warranty :)
