Is there auto capitalization on the iMac?

I see that the keyboard has auto spelling correct. But I don't see auto caps. Like the beginning of sentences and turning the i into a caps I. Basically I am trying to set up all my devices so they handle the keyboard the same. Im used to typing on there iPad and now suck on this mac. Used to all the auto stuff.

I don't believe there is an option in 10.9 for this. I've never had a problem just using the shift key though...

Lol ya of course shift works fine. If mac doesn't have it though I need to turn it off on my ipad. So that I have a uniform typing method. My brain doesn't like change.

On a side note what the *****. Just sitting down to have a nice productive day and now I have a huge triangle in my vision. That means migraine to follow and my day is foiled. Oh well.

The only time this bothers my is when I am typing in messages. I just expect it to work the same on the iMac as it does on my iPhone.
