I have bought a new Apple Watch Series 3. However, I want to go ahead and replace it with a aftermarket housing. Problem comes in, that these housings were introduced when Apple had just recently introduced Apple Watch.

My question is, is there a huge difference in those housings? If not, can I replace the housing made for Apple Watch, 1, or 2 into the Series 3 Apple Watch?

The casings Vary in manufacturing aspects for the different Apple Watch models, which there are differences. Aside from voiding your warranty with the Apple Watch Series 3, I don't believe you would be able to replace all the components successfully from one casing into another because of soldered components.

It would be quite a feat to move the guts of the AW3 to a different housing. I can not see it being done but if you do, pictures!
