I'll be quick. I want an apple watch, but have an iPhone 4. Obviously I need to upgrade but I wouldn't mind going for an iPhone 5 instead of a 6 but fear there must be some sort of limited functionality going this route. Any further advice on the matter is appreciated.

As far as I know everything should work just as it would on newer phones, with the addition of Apple Pay support if you wanted that.
