I have an upgrade available. Will I be able to pay the upgrade price as I did in the past? Or do I have to pay full retail? Am I missing something?

They offer that you can pay for the phone in installments. You either pay $750 up front or $31.25 a month for 2 years. There are no more $300 and $400 discounts for signing a 2 year contract.

i bought the iPhone 6 on launch day at Verizon for the subsidized price. Am I still able to get the iPhone 7 for the subsidized price of $199/$299/$399.

I understand Verizon has changed the model by implementing monthly payments, but would I be grandfathers into the old model?

Discount prices are offered by the carriers, not Apple.

The "discount" is the amount they bury in the cost of your 2 year plan monthly.

Same discussion as here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/is-there-no-longer-an-upgrade-price-vzw.1992588/

Current customers are still eligible for "contract pricing." New customers are not.

Your wrong.

Verizon offers a discount on the iPhone along with a two year contract, but only for existing customers.

I hope you're right. That would make my day. Ill be able to get a new one for less than $200.

It shows as $16.66 a month for 2 years when I look at what I can upgrade to.
You're looking at the device payment plan (DPP) that's a 24 month program.

Not... To be confused with a 2-Yr Contract Upgrade. That's a one time charge of 99 cents plus tax. These are not advertised on the web. Only for existing customers that call in.

Then I suggest calling Verizon or chatting with Verizon.
Are you saying their website is listing the wrong pricing?

So I will have to call? They will not give me this discount if I walk into a store?

No. if you're eligible and logged into VerizonWireless.com, 3 prices choices will be available. You don't need to call in.
