I upgraded from an 8 Plus to an XS Max last month and I also had to replace my Max due to stuttering issues.

This issue I’m about to discuss was present on both from what I can tell.

When scrolling through text or even some 2D games, fine lines and the words seem to trail behind a bit. If I pan the page up and down at different speeds sometimes I can briefly see the same line of text duplicated like 3-4 times right next to it. Also the screen image smudges during motion a lot more frequently than I remember on the last two iPhone gens.

It seems to be something I cannot unsee now and it’s especially distracting when scrolling through reddit or even these forums.

Is this an OLED vs LCD thing or do I have an issue.

The image doesn’t stay clear regardless of how fast it scrolls right? There is a slight blur.

I second the comment about the video. Not clear if this is an oled issue or not.

As someone asked before yes I’ve seen it on models at two different stores.

Also I have no idea how to compress this video

Seeing these symptoms at the store doesn’t mean you have the symptoms on your phone, which is why I asked for a video so I can get your perspective on your phone.

Lol what I meant to say was yes I have these symptoms on my phone and have seen it on other models.

I’m more inclined to think it’s just the way the OLED screen is because it seen people talk of it on other boards.

I do have a video but I have no idea how to get it on here.
