Hi everybody,

Just wondering if anyone knows a way to change the title of the video when you open it in Quicktime WITHOUT having to use QT 7 Pro. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the name of the file in the finder, I'm talking about the name that comes up on the video when you open it in Quicktime/view the info on the file in Quicktime.

I've searched this all over the internet and everyone is saying I need QT 7 Pro to do that, which it looks like Apple still sells, but all the responses are fairly old and I was just wanting to know if there were any free workarounds. I also have Toast 11 Titanium, incase anyone knows how to do it in there (short of re-exporting the entire clip).

Thanks!

What format is the video in? Mov/mp4/m4v or something in mpeg2?

If the first groups, you can rename it it in iTunes via the get info dialog.
