Is there such thing as a tv/computer remote control/mouse?

i was planning to connect my lcd tv to a mac mini i was aspiring to buy. to control the two, i was just wondering if there is some sort of remote control/mouse available to control both the TV and computer.

Maybe the ATI Remote Wonder http://www.ati.com/products/remotewonder/ is what you mean. You can set it up to control iLife apps with buttons that can be configured for, say, iTunes. I think it also works with Alchemy and Elgato stuff as well.
It has a base staion you plug into a usb port, and the remote itself is an RF device, so you can even use it from another room (in which case it also helps if you can see through walls.......)
