Is there such thing as "Reserve" on Apple.com?

Hey Guys - Quick question...

I was reading a forum where it stated that Apple.com may do a Reservation system for the iPhone 5 launch ... anyone care to shed any light on this? Have they done this before?

Why would they not do reserves? Pay for your phone online, pick it up in store, and not wait in the non-reserved line. It's win-win if you ask me.

In NYC on the 4 launch day, the reserve line was longer than the walk up line.

Well at the line I was in they let like 10 reserve people in for every one non reserve. I was there for almost 12 hours I think. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
