Today I was trying to find some information about The battle of Jenkins Ear. So I asked Siri "The Battle of Jenkins Ear". But instead of getting any information it opened Photos. Thinking it miss heard me I tried again, and got the same results. A college tried on his iPhone and he got the same results. I have also tried my wife’s phone with just the same results.

Have I found some bug in Siri?

You are right, it does exactly the same for me as well. How odd!

It probably thinks you are searching for photos from an event or an album. I think you probably have to say "search the web for..." for it to not do this.
